Fresh and Local Beeswax Candles ~ prayer, flower, and essential oil infused
These candles are something special. I have worked for years on these recipes. The smell of the wax alone is absolutely pleasure inducing. When I make these candles, it is a ritual. I set an intention before I begin and gather the oils, flowers, herbs, and altar pieces that support this prayer. Pine, for example, aids in grief. Rose and geranium, for feminine essence and receptivity. Each plant has a personality and signature we can learn from. I am just learning myself, and adore the process. Prayers, songs, intentions, and gratitude are sung through the process of creating. This is true witch craft <3 Casting spells of love, of healing, invocation, and support and then creating something totally new with those intentions.
Seriously though, one of my favorite things about these candles is simply the wax. I have had the luck and pleasure to work with wax from a local bee keeper who cares for bees across the county. His wax is so special! And I love driving over and picking it up from this beautifully stocked curbside cabinet.
